Gates HTD timing belts 5M section use a curved tooth profile for improved load distribution and higher torque capacity than trapezoidal timing belts. They are a well-established standard for industrial synchronous drives where moderate-to-high torque transmission is required.
Where this product is used
PowerGrip HTD is an industrial synchronous drive belt, not an automotive timing belt. Typical applications include:
- 3M and 5M sections: domestic appliances, office machines, electric hand tools and processing/chemical industry equipment
- 8M, 14M and 20M sections: machine tool, paper and textile industry drives needing durability and low maintenance
- Any roller chain drive being converted to a lower-maintenance belt system

Select by pitch (2MGT/3MGT/5MGT for GT3; 3M/5M/8M/14M/20M for HTD) and belt width to suit your drive, or cross-reference by pitch length + pitch + width (e.g. 600-5MGT-15 = 600 mm pitch length, 5MGT pitch, 15 mm wide).
