Gates 26

Gates G-Force is a family of CVT (continuously variable transmission) belts made in the USA for powersports vehicles, ATVs, UTVs/side-by-sides and snowmobiles, engineered for an OE-perfect fit with matching shift curves and pulley speed ratios. Construction uses a high-tensile aramid cord, an aramid-fibre-loaded ethylene elastomer body for stiffness and heat resistance, a trapezoidal top notch with a rounded bottom cog for flexibility and heat dissipation, and a specially formulated adhesion gum to extend service life.

Choosing the right option

G-Force comes in two sub-lines, matched to engine size and use: WorkHorse for stock, low-to-mid-range engines (roughly 150 to 799cc) and RedLine for high-range and extreme engines (roughly 800 to 1300cc+, or any turbo/heavily modified vehicle). Never back-bend, crimp, flatten or invert a CVT belt, and always follow Gates' break-in procedure after fitting a new one.
