Gates 2/9500PB Green Stripe Belt Heavy

Gates Green Stripe™ PowerBand™ belts — sold under the Green Stripe FleetRunner™ name — are a banded (multi-strand) heavy-duty V-belt built for the toughest truck, bus and off-highway engine accessory drives. Gates moulded-notch V-belts are constructed in EPDM, giving a 70% broader temperature range than older belt compounds and resisting the hardening that leads to cracking in high-heat engine bay conditions.

Where this product is used

Gates Green Stripe / FleetRunner belts are engineered for heavy commercial-vehicle and off-highway engine accessory drives, not light industrial or automotive Micro-V duty. Typical applications include:

• Truck, bus and coach engine accessory drives — alternator, fan, water pump and air-compressor drives
• Off-highway, construction and heavy agricultural equipment engines subject to shock loads, high heat and vibration

Selecting the right option

Select first by configuration: PowerBand (banded) belts are specified where drive whip, long centre distances or belt turnover are a risk — the joined strands cannot slip or roll individually. Single Green Stripe V-belts suit standard single- or multi-groove pulley drives. Then match by belt section and length, or by the OE/Gates part number on the belt you’re replacing.
