The Gates Maintenance (GIBMAINT-4) Kit 4 - EZ Align is a Gates-branded drive maintenance case built around published Gates tools for correctly tensioning and aligning belt drives. This kit case holds the Gates EZ Align laser alignment system: a laser transmitter and reflector pair with magnetic mounts for large sprockets and pulleys, giving the most accurate sprocket-face alignment available, no training required, one operator, one job. 60% of belt drive problems trace back to incorrect tension or misalignment, these kits give a technician the tools to get both right the first time, and check them again at every service.

Kit 1 (508C & AT-1) and Kit 3 (508C & EZ Align) both include the sonic tension meter; Kit 3 pairs it with the more capable EZ Align laser system and is Gates' most popular configuration for a full commissioning toolkit. Kit 2 (AT-1 only) and Kit 4 (EZ Align only) suit a workshop that already owns a tension meter and needs alignment capability alone.
