Gates 3/5VX750 Super HC PowerBand Belt

The Gates Super HC PowerBand banded belt 5VX section is a wrapped narrow V-belt for industrial drives requiring high power in a compact cross-section. Super HC belts follow ISO and RMA standards for narrow V-belt geometry and are interchangeable with equivalent SPA/SPB/SPC or 3V/5V/8V drives.

Where this product is used

Selecting the right option

Select by belt section first, then by pitch length. Classical sections run A, B, C, D, E (or Z in metric) — cross-reference to the metric ISO equivalent (13A, 17A, 22A) where needed. Narrow sections (3V/SPA, 5V/SPB, 8V/SPC) carry more power in the same envelope. The XP series (XPZ/XPA/XPB/XPC) are notched versions for improved flex efficiency. Gates PowerBand banded belts join multiple strands — specify these for long centre distances, vertical drives or where belt whip is an issue. For Micro-V (K/J section) automotive belts, match by OE reference or by rib count and pitch length.
