SIT Steel Condenser Tube Brush 11mm, 3/16 in BSW CTBS11 | CTBS11

Condenser and boiler tube brushes are bound with a spiral held together with a wire core, and are made for cleaning the inside of pipes, including threaded pipe and O ring slots. The CTBS11 is the 11 mm steel size, with a 3/16 in BSW thread.

Fit the brush to a drill chuck only at extremely low speed, below 80 rpm: the brush will bend or snap at higher speeds. Condenser tube brushes are often pulled through a pipe on fishing line or similar.

Selecting the right option

Check the 11 mm diameter suits the tube. Fit the brush to a drill chuck only at extremely low speed, below 80 rpm: the brush will bend or snap at higher speeds. Condenser tube brushes are often pulled through a pipe on fishing line or similar. Wear eye protection and gloves when brushing, because wire can break off during use.
