Irega 10" Insulated 1000V Adjustable Wrench

The Irega insulated adjustable wrench is rated by the manufacturer for work on voltage up to 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC. Each wrench is submitted to a high voltage test to EN-60900 (equivalent IEC-900) at 10,000 volts for 10 seconds, and only those that pass the test are accepted.

The handles are insulated with plastisol in three layers of different colours (red, orange and yellow) that warn of damage. This listing covers the 10", 12" and 15" sizes.

Selecting the right option

Choose the size to suit the nut or fastener you need to turn. A longer wrench gives more leverage, but check there is room to swing it. Inspect the insulation before each use and take the wrench out of service if the insulation is damaged or an inner colour layer shows.
