M5 Jaw/swage Rigging Screw with Lock Nuts, 316 Stainless Steel - RSCA4M5X32
Available
The Jaw-Swage With Lock Nuts Rigging Screw, 316 Stainless Steel is available in 3 sizes (M5 to M10) and is a rigging screw that tensions wire rope. It has a jaw at one end, a swage end for wire rope, and lock nuts, and turning the body tightens or loosens the line.
The range runs to 3 variants, covering sizes M5 to M10. Variants are supplied in packs of 5 to 10, depending on size.
The A4 (316) grade is stainless steel with added molybdenum, which helps it hold up where salt, pool chemicals or washdown chemicals are present. It is the more corrosion-resistant of the two common stainless grades, at a higher cost than 304. Metric sizes are written M followed by the nominal thread diameter in millimetres, so M10 is a 10 mm thread.
Use stainless washers and nuts with stainless fasteners, so the whole joint is made of the same material.
