The Loctite 5127 Flexible Anaerobic Gasket is a blue, one-part methacrylate paste that forms gaskets in place on rigid, close-fitting metal flanges. Once cured it fills surface imperfections and makes a tough, resilient seal that flexes with flange movement from vibration, pressure and heat. It seals most common industrial fluids, won't crack or shrink as it cures, and removes the compression set and re-torquing that come with cut gaskets. This is the 50 ml pack.
Lay a bead on a clean, grease-free flange by hand, screen print, roller or robot, and tighten up soon after assembly to avoid shimming; Activator SF 7649 speeds the slower cure on passivated steel. It is not a UV-curing product and is not suited to pure oxygen, oxygen-rich systems, chlorine or other strong oxidisers. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
