Rated to +316°C, Loctite 596 is the RTV silicone sealant for the highest-temperature sealing tasks in industrial and automotive applications. Its acetoxy silicone formulation cures at room temperature to a tough, flexible, oil-resistant rubber bond. Extrusion rate of 250 g/min or more and availability in 80 ml and 300 ml cartridges suit both maintenance and production use.

LOCTITE SI 596 is a red, flowable, smooth, 1-part RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing) acetoxy silicone paste sealant that cures at room temperature on exposure to moisture in the air to form a tough, flexible, waterproof, oil-resistant silicone rubber bond. Resists temperatures up to 316°C (600°F), suited to industrial furnaces, ovens, boilers and exhaust stacks. Tack-free time: 30 min. Extrusion rate: >=250 g/min at 25°C. Operating temperature: -59 to +316°C. Chemical basis: Acetoxy silicone. Colour: Red.
