The Loctite SF 7471 Activator T (formerly Loctite 7471) is a solvent-based activator that speeds up the cure of Loctite anaerobic threadlockers, retaining compounds and sealants. It helps these products cure reliably on passive surfaces such as stainless steel and plated parts, across large bond gaps, and in cold conditions below 15°C. It dries in 30 to 70 seconds and treated parts stay active for up to 7 days. This is the 133 g aerosol.
Spray one or both mating surfaces, let the solvent flash off in a well-ventilated spot, then apply your anaerobic product and assemble straight away. Keep activator and adhesive apart as liquids, check compatibility on plastics and coatings first, and treat the can as highly flammable. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
