The Loctite LB 8801 Silicone Lubricant (formerly Loctite Silicone Lubricant) is a translucent, non-curing silicone grease that lubricates, seals, waterproofs and electrically insulates metal, rubber and plastic parts. It resists water, steam, alcohols and mineral and vegetable oils, and stays stable at high and low temperatures. With a dielectric strength of 22.8 kV/mm, it keeps water and arcing away from electrical connections. This is the 150 g tube.
Brush, dab or spread a thin layer over O-rings, valve parts or contacts — it stays put as a grease and doubles as a release agent for rubber and plastic mouldings. Keep it out of pure oxygen and oxygen-rich systems, and don't use it to seal chlorine or other strong oxidising materials. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
