Macnaught T512THG-01 Unmetered Oil Dispensing Kit, 5:1

The Macnaught T512THG-01 is a 5:1 oil dispensing kit for workshops that fill from a 205 L drum. It combines the OilMaster T512T-01 5:1 air-operated drum pump, the HG20R-01 unmetered oil gun and a 3m delivery hose, so the main parts come in one box. The kit has an estimated maximum flow of 8 L/min on SAE10 oil. The gun is unmetered, so there is no meter display.

The pump is from the OilMaster T-series, which uses less air than the R-series but moves less oil at the same ratio. At 5:1 it pushes oil through longer hoses and thicker oil with less flow. The ratio is how much the pump multiplies your air pressure at the oil outlet. A higher ratio gives more push for long hose runs and thick oil, but usually less oil per minute. A lower ratio usually moves more oil with less push. The HG20R-01 gun is an unmetered oil control gun with a rigid extension, an automatic non-drip nozzle, a latching trigger with trigger guard and a rating up to 6,900 kPa (1,000 psi). For a shorter run with thinner oil, the 3:1 or 1:1 OilMaster kits are the other options. If you want a meter on the gun, choose the metered version of this kit.
