Marshalltown MTRT693 Grout Bag Replacement Tip, 3/8" Metal

The Marshalltown MTRT693 is a 3/8 inch (about 9.5 mm) metal replacement tip for Marshalltown and QLT grout bags. It makes it easier to control the grout leaving the bag when filling joints between brick, block and stonework (manufacturer-stated). The maker lists the part as RT693.

Marshalltown lists the tip for its vinyl grout bags, such as the GB692, and says its QLT disposable grout bags (DGB661) can be used with it. Grout bags are sold separately, so this is the part to buy when a tip is lost or damaged, or to put a metal tip on a bag supplied without one. It is made in the USA with global materials (manufacturer-stated).

Key specifications

Selecting the right option

Order this when you already have the grout bag. Marshalltown sells its vinyl bags with a tip (GB692) or without one (GB691), and the QLT disposable bags (DGB661) have a trim-to-size tip, so a metal tip is useful when you want a fixed 3/8 inch opening. The tip is sold on its own and the maker does not publish a thread or fitting detail, so check it suits your bag before a big job.
