Selecting and fitting

Choose the key size from the shaft diameter. Where the table lists a shaft range, that is the range the size suits. A size with no shaft range listed is an additional size, so check it against the keyway dimensions of the shaft and the hub. Key steel is bar, and it is cut to the length you need.
