The Splendor latex coated glove has a roughened latex coat over a seamless polyester cotton liner. The data sheet lists the coat as giving wet and dry grip, an ergonomic snug fit, and a glove that can be washed at 42 degrees Celsius (manufacturer-stated).

Beaver's sources give different EN 388 results for this glove and the lower figures are used here, which is 2131X: abrasion 2, blade cut 1, tear 3 and puncture 1, with the cut test not done (manufacturer-stated). Blade cut level 1 is the lowest level, so this is a general handling glove and not a cut resistant glove. The glove has natural rubber latex, which can cause an allergic reaction in some people. Beaver lists applications as general construction, handling glass and sheet metal, general assembly, the recycling industry, warehousing, brickwork, agriculture and gardening (manufacturer-stated). The EN 388:2016 result (manufacturer-stated) is read in the order abrasion, blade cut, tear, puncture and then a cut letter from A to F. A higher number or letter is a higher level, a 0 means level 1 was not reached, and an X means that test was not done. A P at the end means the impact test was passed. Match the glove to your risk assessment, check the fit, and replace gloves that are worn, torn or contaminated. The ratings are test results on the glove material and do not describe every hazard on your site.
