The Pferd diamond handy files have a forged shank that allows use without an additional handle. The range has six options, all 215mm long with a 100mm coating: hand, half-round, three square, square and round in grit D 126, plus three square in D 181.
Key properties: longer tool life due to harder diamond grain. For work on hardened steel. There is no chemical wear thanks to the low working temperatures. A higher D number is a finer grit.
