The Pferd POLIFAN CO SGP CURVE STEELOX is a curve flap disc with ceramic oxide grain flaps, from its Special Line SGP range. The range has 4 options in 115 and 125mm diameters, grit 60.

The CO SGP CURVE STEELOX is a high-performance flap disc for fine finishes on steel and stainless steel (INOX), developed for work on fillet welds and also suitable for work on weld seams, chamfering and deburring. The radial CURVE design is described as the specialist for work on fillet welds, and once the circumference has worn down it can continue to be used as a conventional flap disc. It is specially developed for work on fillet welds.

Choosing the right option

A higher grit number is a finer abrasive. With POLIFAN flap discs a grit one grade coarser can be selected to reach the same surface as with fibre discs. Each shape suits a different job: flat (PFF) for surface grinding, conical (PFC) for weld seams, chamfering and deburring, and radial (PFR, CURVE) for fillet welds. Check the maximum speed given for the item and keep the angle grinder at or below it.
