Precision Brand imperial slotted shims are pre-cut stainless steel shims with a slot, used to align and level machinery. They come in 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 in squares and thicknesses from 0.001 in to 0.125 in, and each option is a pack of shims in one thickness.
The shims are made from 300 series stainless steel, which resists rust and corrosion, and each shim is permanently marked with its thickness. The tab design makes shim placement easier and safer, because there is no need to put hands under machinery during installation or removal. Made in USA (manufacturer-stated). Options marked special order are not held as standard stock, so contact AIMS for the lead time.

Selecting the right option
Choose the shim size so that the slot clears the bolt and the shim supports the mounting foot, then choose the thickness you have measured. Several shims can be combined to make up a required thickness. If you are unsure which size suits your machine, contact AIMS with the machine details.
