Rocket Zirconia Flap Disc 125mm, 60 Grit FD12560Z (Pack of 10 discs) | FD12560Z

These Rocket 125 mm zirconia flap discs have a 22 mm bore, for use on angle grinders. They come in 40, 60, 80 and 120 grit, and each variant is supplied as a pack of 10 discs.

A flap disc is made up of overlapping abrasive flaps. The lower the grit number, the coarser the disc and the faster it removes material, and the higher the grit number, the finer the finish it leaves. The discs are rated to a maximum of 12,200 rpm, so check that your angle grinder does not run faster than that.

Selecting the right option

Check that your angle grinder has a 125 mm guard and a 22 mm spindle fit, and that its no-load speed does not exceed 12,200 rpm. Use the guard supplied with the grinder, and wear eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask.
