Stahlwille SW6630 7 220 VDE Cable Shear, 220 mm

The Stahlwille 6630 is a 220 mm cable shear for copper and aluminium cable, with a chrome plated head and dip-insulated handles, VDE insulated up to 1,000 V (manufacturer-stated). Order number 66307220.

It cuts with one hand, and the cutting edge geometry is made to avoid pressure marks and frayed ends. The joint is an adjustable screw joint with anti-squeeze protection. Stahlwille lists it to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for AC 1,000 V and DC 1,500 V (manufacturer-stated). It is not suitable for steel wire or steel-armoured cable. Selecting the right option

This is a cable shear, not a wire cutter: use side cutters for steel wire. Insulated side cutters are in the Stahlwille 6602 VDE heavy duty side cutters and the Stahlwille 6600 VDE side cutters, and insulated combination pliers are in the Stahlwille 6501 VDE combination pliers. A cable stripper is in the Stahlwille 6622 wire stripping pliers.
