Sutton TCT (tungsten carbide tipped) and diamond holesaws cut through the hardest masonry, ceramic tile, compressed fibre cement, and other abrasive materials that destroy bi-metal holesaws. They require the appropriate pilot drill and, for diamond series, water cooling.

Selecting the right option

TCT holesaws require a slow speed and light, steady pressure — forcing the cut cracks the carbide. Diamond holesaws require water cooling throughout the cut — dry running destroys the diamond bond layer. Match the pilot drill to the arbor system; Sutton H104CT63 and H115 pilot drills are designed for their respective holesaw arbors.
