Where this product is used
- Cutting off metal bar, tube and section by hand.
- Builders, tradesmen and DIY users who need a sturdy frame for cut-off work.
- Site, workshop and maintenance toolboxes.
Using the hacksaw
- Fit the blade with the teeth pointing away from the handle, so it cuts on the forward stroke, and tension the frame firmly with the adjuster.
- Choose the TPI by the material thickness, so at least 3 teeth are in contact with the work at all times.
- Use long, steady strokes with light pressure on the forward stroke.
- Support the work close to the cut so it does not vibrate or pinch the blade.
