The Sutton M802 0305 (M8020305) is a multi-function adjustable ceiling hole cutter for cutting or enlarging holes in ceilings, walls or floors made with plasterboard, fibre cement board, fibreglass or stucco. The cutting diameter adjusts from 48 to 305 mm using an engraved scale.
A clear dust shield is designed to give great visibility and minimal mess. The carbide tip blade is better in fibre cement board and fibreglass. A screw knob gives quick changes to the cutting depth, a compression spring is designed to reduce vibration, and a pilot drill sets the centre of the hole to be cut. The cutter fits a rotary power drill with a 10 mm (3/8") chuck. The 1/2" and 5/8" holesaw threads can be used for hole enlarging (holesaws not included).

Using the hole cutter
- Fit the cutter to a rotary power drill with a 10 mm (3/8") chuck and set the cutting diameter on the engraved scale.
- Set the cutting depth with the screw knob, and keep the pilot drill at the centre of the hole to be cut.
- For hole enlarging, fit a holesaw to the 1/2" or 5/8" thread: use the small washer on the 1/2" thread for holesaws up to 30 mm and the large washer on the 5/8" thread for holesaws from 32 mm. Holesaws are not included.
