Selecting the right option

Confirm the taper number of both your machine spindle and the cutting tool shank — Morse tapers run from MT0 (small) to MT6 (large) and are not interchangeable. Use a drawbar or knockout bar to remove taper-shank tools cleanly — never use a hammer directly on the tool.
