About Grade TK1501
Carbide CVD. Duratomic® grade. A highly wear-resistant grade for cast irons in general as well as in steels. The grade is particularly capable in the machining of ductile (nodular) cast irons also in more demanding setups and interrupted cuts. Ti(C,N) + Al2O3 + Used Edge Detection (Chrome).
About the MR7 Chipbreaker
The strongest chipbreaker for double-sided inserts. The MR7 is suitable for high feed rates and depths of cut that normally require a single-sided insert. The chipbreaker has a wide negative T land, which gives high edge strength. Indicative machining range: f = 0,35–0,90 mm/rev, ap = 1,5–7,0 mm.
