Carbide CVD. Duratomic® grade. Enhanced edge toughness still with the characteristic high wear resistance intended for versatile performance in turning applications in steels as well as stainless steel especially including interrupted cuts. Ti(C,N) + Al2O3 + Used Edge Detection (Chrome).
About the R57 Chipbreaker
Chipbreaker for single-sided roughing inserts. Recommended for roughing operations on steel at high feed rates and high depth of cut. Indicative machining range: f = 0,45-1,10 mm/rev, ap = 2-12 mm.
