XT-1 Weld Fit Hub, XT Series, 1 inch Bore

XT series weld fit hubs in imperial bores from 1/2 to 1-3/4 inch (12.7 to 44.45 mm), XT-1/2 to XT-1-3/4. These are the welded hubs for use with XT series weld fit sprockets. The hub is welded to the plate of the sprocket and is bored and keyed to suit the shaft.
Hub dimensions A, B, C and D are the same for every bore in the XT series, and the table below lists the bore and keyway size for each part number.

Selecting and fitting
Match the hub series to the sprocket series: VT hubs for VT series sprockets, WT for WT and XT for XT. The series is part of the sprocket model number, for example 40VT12HT is a VT series sprocket. The weld fit sprockets are on ASA 40 Weld Fit Sprocket, Hardened Teeth, 1/2 in Pitch, ASA 50 Weld Fit Sprocket, Hardened Teeth, 5/8 in Pitch, ASA 60 Weld Fit Sprocket, Hardened Teeth, 3/4 in Pitch, ASA 80 Weld Fit Sprocket, Hardened Teeth, 1 in Pitch. and BS 08B Weld Fit Sprocket, Hardened Teeth, 1/2 in Pitch
Then choose the bore to suit the shaft. The catalogue recommends welding with low hydrogen electrodes. Allow the hub and sprocket to cool and check the run-out before fitting the drive.
