A flat faced flange in carbon steel with PN35 drilling. Forged to ASTM A105, dimensionally precise and Carbon steel forged to ASTM A105 covers general utility, water and yard piping where stainless is not required. Flat faced flanges suit cast iron and plastic mating flanges where a raised face would crack the brittle counterface. As a flat face flange (category-derived) on PN35 piping, it bolts straight onto existing mating flanges without an adaptor or transition piece.
