Choosing a ball valve

Start with the material and the connection: brass, stainless steel or plastic, and the thread (BSP or NPT) or flanged end. Then choose the size and the handle: lever, lockable lever, T-handle or extended spindle, or a lockout version if you need to lock the valve. Three-way valves come in L and T port, and several stainless steel valves are listed in 1, 2 and 3-piece versions. To automate a valve, see our actuators, and for more detail read our ball valve guide. Always check the data sheet for pressure, temperature, material and fluid suitability before you order, and call us if you want help.
