This AAP polypropylene camlock dust plug is a Type DP: a dust plug that plugs a female camlock end. It is supplied in 6 sizes from 3/4 in (20 mm) to 3 in (80 mm).
This is the dust plug: it is a male end that plugs into a female camlock coupler (Types B, C and D) to close it off when the line is not in use.
It is black polypropylene (30% glass filled), which AAP says is used extensively in the chemical and agricultural sectors, including spraying equipment (manufacturer-stated).
AAP makes its camlocks to interchange with products made to Mil Spec A-A 59326 (manufacturer-stated). Dimension letters in the table follow the AAP catalogue drawings.

Selecting the right option
Choose the size to match the hose or pipe thread you are connecting, and pair it with a female camlock coupler of the same size (Types B, C or D). AAP gives the media as water, oil, powders and some hydrocarbons and chemicals, so check chemical compatibility before use. AAP also lists spare parts for its camlocks: brass handles (code CBH), handle pins (code CP) and NBR gaskets (code CGN), so contact AIMS if you need them.
