A forged class 3000 reducing coupling that joins two different-bore pipes in line. Made to ASME B16.11-2009 from ASTM A105 carbon steel with NPT female threads, both ends cut at both ends. Plain black (oiled) finish suits dry or sheltered service. For outdoor or damp installations, use the galvanised variant. As a pipe coupling in black with NPT connections, it pairs cleanly with the rest of the AAP high-pressure range so a complete joint can be built from one supplier.
