Beaver grade 80 eye swivel hooks with safety latch

Beaver Grade 80 eye swivel hooks with safety latch suit 7-8mm to 16mm Grade 80 chain, with working load limits (WLL) of 2,000kg (2 t) to 8,000kg (8 t). The enlarged eye takes larger shackles without taking the hook apart. Each size has a matching replacement latch kit.

Its Grade 80 lifting components are made from heat treated alloy steel, are tested throughout manufacture, and meet AS 3776, Lifting Components for Grade T Chain Slings. They carry distinguishing marks, including the brand, grade and size and a date of manufacture and batch ID.

Choosing the right option

Chain size is the Grade 80 chain size the component suits.

Choose the size by the WLL and the chain size it must match, and make sure every part of the assembly (chain, link, hook and lifting point) is Grade 80 and rated for the load. Do not swivel it under load unless Beaver confirms that it can. Lifting equipment must be used within its marked working load limit (WLL), inspected before each use, and selected and used in line with your site lifting procedure and the relevant Australian Standards.
