Beaver Push Girder Trolley, 1 t, 64-203 mm Beam (522010S)
Available
Beaver push girder trolleys are colour coded trolleys designed to run on RSJ or universal beams, with a hanging eye for attaching a chain block (manufacturer-stated). Beaver publishes data for push trolleys from 500 kg to 5 t, and this listing carries those five codes plus a 10 t code, 522100S, which Beaver does not publish a table for (manufacturer-stated).
Beaver states the trolleys comply with AS 1418.2 (manufacturer-stated). Beaver says every trolley is operationally tested to 150% of its rated capacity and comes with a test certificate, and that each trolley has a serial number stamped on its stainless steel identification plate that matches the test certificate (manufacturer-stated). Beaver says the trolleys are not designed for passenger elevator applications and must not be used for that purpose, and that selecting and calculating the proper beam is the user's responsibility (manufacturer-stated).
Beaver's data for each code includes a proof load in kilonewtons, the minimum radius of curve, the beam width range the trolley adjusts to and the net weight. Lifting equipment must be used within its marked working load limit (WLL), inspected before each use, and selected and used in line with your site lifting procedure and the relevant Australian Standards. If you are unsure what suits your lift, contact AIMS or a qualified rigger before ordering.

Code 522100S (10 t)
AIMS lists a 10 t push girder trolley, code 522100S, with a beam width range of 124-305 mm. Beaver's push girder trolley tables stop at 5 t (522050S), so the colour, proof load, dimensions and weight for 522100S are not published by Beaver. Confirm the details with AIMS before you order this code. Lifting equipment must be used within its marked working load limit (WLL), inspected before each use, and selected and used in line with your site lifting procedure and the relevant Australian Standards. If you are unsure what suits your lift, contact AIMS or a qualified rigger before ordering.

Figures are from Beaver's Materials Handling Technical Manual (Vol. 4) and Beaver's website, which agree. Dimensions A to L1 are in millimetres, as listed by Beaver, and Beaver does not define the letters on its web page. Beaver lists a 1.5 t push trolley (522015S, orange) and close headroom push trolleys (522005SC to 522050SC, to suit 3S chain blocks), which AIMS does not carry. Beaver lists the flange width the trolleys adjust to as up to 305 mm in its manual and up to 350 mm on its website and data sheet, and its tables run to 305 mm.
Selecting the right option
Choose the rated capacity to suit the chain block plus the heaviest load it will carry, then check that the beam width range covers your beam flange and that your beam is suited to the trolley. If you are unsure, ask AIMS or a qualified rigger before ordering.
