Bossweld Black Lift Front Helmet

The Bossweld Black Lift Front Helmet is a lightweight passive welding helmet with a flip-up front lens casing. The black shell is moulded from heat resistant plastic, the headpiece is adjustable with a ratchet harness, and the harness and sweatband are replaceable. It comes with a shade 11 lens and two clear lenses, in the common 108 x 51 mm lens size.

It suits MIG, TIG and stick welding, heavy cutting and carbon arc gouging, and the lift-up front lets you move between welding and inspection without removing the helmet. The manufacturer states that the shell complies with AS 1337. Selecting the right option

This is a passive helmet: the lens stays at the fixed shade you fit, so you flip the front up to inspect or chip. To make it auto-darkening, the Bossweld Electronic Lens 109 x 51 mm is made to convert a lift-up front helmet to an electronic switching lens. Spare lenses are 108 x 51 mm, such as the Bossweld Welding Lens, the CR 39 Cover Lens and the Magnification Lens Multi Pack.
