Bossweld X-Sight Series Electronic Welding Helmet Variable Shade XR4

The Bossweld X-Sight Series Electronic Welding Helmet (XR4 design) is an auto-darkening helmet with a dual shade range of DIN 5–8 and 9–13, a 100 x 53 mm viewing area, four arc sensors and a grinding mode. It protects the eyes, neck and face from flash burn, UV and IR light, sparks and heat, and the lower DIN 5–8 range suits low-current work.

The manufacturer states that the X-Sight Series suits MIG, TIG, stick (MMA), plasma cutting, and gas welding and cutting, and that it is certified to AS/NZS 1337 and 1338. Selecting the right option

Choose the X-Sight over the Bossweld Forge if you weld at low current or work across MIG, TIG and plasma, as its lower DIN 5–8 range and four sensors cover more processes. It has the same 100 x 53 mm viewing area as the BossSafe Trade Series. Grinding mode is for grinding only: set the helmet back to a welding shade before you strike an arc.
