Brady M4C-750-595-WT-BK B-595 Vinyl Label Tape, Black on White, 19.05 mm x 7.6 m

Brady M4C and M5C B-595 cartridges are continuous all-weather vinyl label tape for Brady M4 and M5 series printers. The M4C cartridges (6.35 to 25.4 mm wide) are listed for the BMP41, BMP51, BMP53, M410, M510 and M511, and the 38.1 mm M5C-1500 cartridges for the BMP51, BMP53, M510 and M511 (manufacturer-stated). This listing covers 41 cartridges: five widths and ten colour combinations. Clear tape comes as 6.1 m (20 ft) and the other colours as 7.6 m (25 ft) (manufacturer-stated).

B-595 is a vinyl with a high-tack permanent acrylic adhesive. It is 0.10 mm thick, works from -40 to 82 °C in service and can be applied at temperatures down to -18 °C (manufacturer-stated). Brady quotes an average outdoor durability of 8 to 10 years, lists the tape as abrasion, chemical, oil and water resistant, and says it resists UV, salt spray, greases, cleaners and detergents (manufacturer-stated). Brady lists BS 5609 and RoHS compliance to 2011/65/EU, with exemptions, for the material (manufacturer-stated). Figures are Brady published values (manufacturer-stated).

In the codes, the number after M4C or M5C is the tape width in thousandths of an inch (500 is 0.5 in, 12.7 mm). The two letters on the end give the tape colour and then the print colour, so M4C-500-595-WT-BK is black print on white tape and M4C-500-595-RD-WT is white print on red tape.

Two numbers identify each product. The product code is the alphanumeric code printed on the cartridge, and it is the code to search for or quote. The Brady ordering number is the six-digit number Brady uses to identify the same product. Both are in the table below, and the Product Code shown for each option on this page is the printed code.

Selecting the right option

Choose the width first. 6.35 and 12.7 mm tape suits small cables, tubes and tight spaces, 19.05 and 25.4 mm gives room for larger text, and 38.1 mm needs an M5 series printer. Then choose the colour, listed as print colour on tape colour. The M4C-250 (6.35 mm) is listed in black on white only. Brady lists these products as supplied with ribbon (manufacturer-stated). The 38.1 mm M5C-1500-595 options are the exception: Brady's pages for those do not state it, so ask us before ordering if the ribbon matters. For pre-cut labels in set sizes see the B-595 die-cut vinyl labels. For a reflective tape see the B-584 retro-reflective label tape, and for polyester that handles solvents and heat see the B-422 polyester labels and tape.
