Brady M4C-500-584 B-584 Retro-Reflective Label Tape, Black on White, 12.7 mm x 6.1 m

Brady B-584 is a retro-reflective label tape that you print on a Brady M4 or M5 series printer. It is for safety identification where the label needs to stand out in poor light, such as on personnel, fire suppression equipment and first aid cabinets (manufacturer-stated). Seven cartridges are listed, each 6.1 m (20 ft) long: black on white and black on yellow in four widths (12.7, 19.05, 25.4 and 38.1 mm). The M4C cartridges are listed for the BMP41, BMP51, BMP53, M410, M510 and M511 and the M5C cartridges for the BMP51, BMP53, M510 and M511 (manufacturer-stated).

B-584 is a 0.14 mm tape with a permanent acrylic adhesive and a gloss finish. It works from -40 to 70 °C in service and applies at 10 °C and above, and Brady quotes an average outdoor durability of 4 to 6 years (manufacturer-stated). Brady lists it as abrasion and chemical resistant and suited to high surface energy surfaces, and says it resists weather, solvents and extreme temperatures (manufacturer-stated). In the codes, the number after M4C or M5C is the tape width in thousandths of an inch (500 is 0.5 in, 12.7 mm), and YL on the end is the yellow tape. Two numbers identify each product. Selecting the right option

Choose black on white for most reflective safety labels and black on yellow where a high-visibility colour is wanted. Apply the tape at 10 °C or above (manufacturer-stated).
