CRC Automotive Silicone Lubricant & Protectant Aerosol 300g

CRC Automotive Silicone is a multi-purpose silicone spray. CRC lists it for lubricating, waterproofing and protecting rubber, plastic, metal, nylon and wood, and for restoring, protecting and preserving rubber mats, mountings and seals, vinyl tops, weather stripping, dashboards, door mouldings and plastic parts.

Using it

Shake the can well before use.

De-energise equipment before applying.

Apply to a clean surface and spray a light, even film.

Repeat the application if necessary. Do not use on energised equipment.

Storage and handling

Do not puncture or incinerate the can, and do not store it above 50 °C. Keep it out of direct sunlight.

Limits and safety

SDS classification: signal word Danger. Extremely flammable aerosol (H222). Pressurised container: may burst if heated (H229). Causes skin irritation (H315). May cause drowsiness or dizziness (H336). Very toxic to aquatic life (H400) and very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects (H410). Transport class UN 1950, Aerosols, Class 2.1. Do not use on energised equipment; aerosol cans conduct electricity. The flash point of below 29 °C and specific gravity of 0.927 in the older data are for the concentrate without propellant and do not describe the aerosol can. Read the safety data sheet before use.
