CRC Maniseal Exhaust Cement Seal 142g

CRC Maniseal Exhaust Cement is an easy-to-use sealant for exhaust systems. CRC's data sheet says it seals leaks from the exhaust system at the manifold, manifold flange and gasket, or the ends of the muffler, and seals in noxious fumes.

It is a creamy brown paste that contains no asbestos; the SDS lists water at 30 to 60 %. It expands and sets when heated.

Using it

CRC's directions: read all directions and apply liberally to all joints of the exhaust system. It will expand and set when heated.

For kiln repairs, wet the surface, push or squeeze the cement into the area and smooth it with a gloved finger. Clean up with water before it dries.

Storage and handling

CRC's data sheet gives no storage temperature or shelf life for this product.

Warning. Causes skin irritation (H315). Causes serious eye irritation (H319). Not classified as dangerous goods. The SDS describes the product as alkaline. CRC's data sheet lists no approvals. Read the safety data sheet before use.
