Dixon HU100200BW 2" 100 Series Hammer Union Butt Weld Forged Steel

This Dixon 100 Series hammer union is forged steel with butt weld ends, a yellow sub and a black nut. Two sizes are listed: HU100200BW for 2" and HU100400BW for 4". Dixon rates the series at 1000 PSI (69 bar) NSCWP and states that its butt weld ends are schedule 80 (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

Hammer unions work at very high pressure, and Dixon warns that mixing components from different series can lead to destruction of property, serious injury or death (manufacturer-stated). Keep the sub, nut and seal in the same series and size, and check the rating suits your system. Check the pipe schedule you are welding to against the schedule 80 ends.
