Selecting the right option
Hammer unions work at very high pressure, and Dixon warns that mixing components from different series can lead to destruction of property, serious injury or death (manufacturer-stated). Keep the sub, nut and seal in the same series and size, and check the rating suits your system. For higher pressure, Dixon lists the 200 and 206 series (grey sub, blue nut) at 2000 PSI NSCWP.
