Dixon NGA050A 1/2" (15 mm) Glass-Filled Nyglass Camlock Type A Adaptor x Female BSP

Selecting the right option

Type A has a female BSP thread, so the mating part needs a male BSP thread; use a thread sealant suited to the media and the material. It connects to a Type B, C or D coupler of the same size. Do not mix nyglass fittings with aluminium fittings (manufacturer-stated). Check your media against the glass-filled body and the EPDM seal; the polypropylene and nyglass ratings are lower than the metal ones and fall as the size goes up. Dixon states that no standard exists for 15 mm (1/2") fittings and that this size generally does not interchange with other manufacturers (manufacturer-stated). For 25 mm, Dixon does not print a pressure figure in its Australian rating table; ask us before you specify it. Dixon states that dust caps and dust plugs must not be used in any pressure application (manufacturer-stated).
