Selecting the right option
Match the valve to the Surelock coupling size, not just the pipe size: the 1 in valve suits the small Surelock range (10 mm to 32 mm) and the 2 in valve suits the medium range (40 mm to 50 mm). Dixon's Surelock coupling information says not to use Surelock couplings on steam (manufacturer-stated), and the Econovalve is listed for air and water.
