Gates 6651BR BladeRunner Lawn and Garden

The Gates BladeRunner belt (A section) is an OE-equivalent replacement for lawn mowers, ride-on garden tractors and domestic cutting equipment. Built to handle the high cyclic shock loads of blade engagement and disengagement, BladeRunner belts resist heat, oil and ozone — conditions typical of outdoor power equipment.

Where this product is used

Gates V-belts cover the full range of industrial, agricultural and automotive drive applications. Common end uses include:

Key specifications

Selecting the right option

Select by belt section first, then by pitch length. Classical sections run A, B, C, D, E (or Z in metric) — cross-reference to the metric ISO equivalent (13A, 17A, 22A) where needed. Narrow sections (3V/SPA, 5V/SPB, 8V/SPC) carry more power in the same envelope. The XP series (XPZ/XPA/XPB/XPC) are notched versions for improved flex efficiency. Gates PowerBand banded belts join multiple strands — specify these for long centre distances, vertical drives or where belt whip is an issue. Looking for an automotive serpentine belt? Automotive Micro-V drives use the K section — see our automotive Micro-V range and match by OE reference or by rib count and pitch length. When in doubt, call AIMS — power transmission is our specialty and we'll confirm the right cross-reference.
