High-strength threadlocker rated from -54°C to +232°C. Permanently locks and seals large bolts and studs, M25 and above. Medium viscosity for good thread coverage on big fasteners. Loctite 272 is a red anaerobic threadlocker for fasteners exposed to heat, such as exhaust studs and furnace hardware. Fixture time is about 40 minutes. It is permanent — heat the nut or bolt to about 250°C and undo it while hot.
