Loctite Super Glue Control is a one-part, clear, liquid ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive in a 3 g dispensing pack. Henkel's data sheet describes it as an instant adhesive for home use.

It bonds plastics, rubbers, metals, woods, ceramics, leather, fabrics, cardboard and paper. The pack has a lockable cap and side buttons that you squeeze gently to dispense.

Selecting the right option

Henkel describes Loctite Super Glue Control as a home-use product in a dispensing pack. For maintenance and production bonding of metals, plastics and elastomers, see Loctite 401 Instant Adhesive or Loctite 416 Super Bonder Instant Adhesive 25ml.

Using it

Prepare bonds at 15 to 30 °C and at least 30 % relative humidity. Surfaces should be clean, dry and close-fitting.

Twist the cap clockwise about three-quarters of a turn to lock it. Squeeze the side buttons gently and apply a minimum amount to one surface.

Join the parts immediately and hold them by hand for at least 1 minute. Then leave the bond undisturbed for 10 minutes, or preferably overnight.

Storage and handling

Store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. Shelf life is 24 months unopened when stored at 2 °C to 8 °C.

Limits and safety

Not recommended for polypropylene, polyethylene, PTFE, silicone rubber, glass, glazed surfaces, very soft leather or foams, or for dusty, dirty or wet surfaces. Not suited to assemblies holding hot liquids or exposed to long periods of high temperature. Read the safety data sheet before use.
