LOCTITE 660 is a high-strength retaining compound designed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, particularly where bond gaps occur, without the need for re-machining. Enables re-use of worn bearing seats, keys, splines and tapers. Suitable for retaining shims. Excellent gap cure characteristics. Shear strength, steel: 23.0 N/mm2 (3335 psi). Fixture time: 15 min. Gap fill: 0.25 to 0.5 mm. Viscosity: 250,000 mPa·s. Operating temperature: -55 to +150°C. Colour: Silver. Certification: NSF P1.
