Maun MA3010/150 End Cutting Plier for Hard Wire, 150 mm

The Maun 150 mm end cutting plier is a high-leverage end cutting nipper for repetitive cutting of hard wire, springs and nails. It is a modified parallel-action plier, and Maun states that it has more compound leverage than a standard 200 mm end cutter (manufacturer-stated).

The compound-lever action multiplies hand force by 14. The precision-ground cutting jaw edges are induction-hardened to HRC 64, and a return spring opens the handles. Cutting capacity is 1.6 mm piano wire, 2.0 mm hard wire and 3.0 mm soft wire (manufacturer-stated). The handles are zinc-plated with grip detailing.

Maun lists BS 3087-7:1996 and ISO 5747:1995 for this range (manufacturer-stated). The plier is 150 mm long, weighs 180 g and is made in England (manufacturer-stated).
