It is a centre designed to hold pipe and hollow work, with preloaded bearings for good thrust and radial load capacities and a head made from heat treated hardened high carbon alloy steel, hardened to 55-60 HRC.

Choosing the right option
Match the Morse taper to your machine and the head diameter to the pipe: LLCP2MT063 is 2MT with a 63mm head and LLCP5MT147 is 5MT with a 147mm head. The 2MT and 3MT sizes have a 70° bevel and the 4MT and 5MT sizes a 75° bevel. For single centres see the dual bearing lathe live centre.
